The 8th International Management Conference “Management Challenges for Sustainable Development” (2014)

    IMC2013

The 7th International Management Conference “New Management for the New Economy” (2013)

    IMC2013

The 7th International Management Conference held on November 7-8, 2013 was organized by the Faculty of Management from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies in partnership with the Management Academic Society in Romania (SAMRO) and the European Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ECSB). A demand for greater flexibility from the part of businesses and organisations, greater accessibility to suppliers, the availability of an increased choice of products and services meeting high quality standards at competitive prices, to name a few prerequisites imposed by globalization and doing business in a global context, determined the need for a change of paradigm.  In this context, academicians and practitioners took the opportunity to share their knowledge, exchange ideas and discuss results of the conducted research in the attempt of finding new approaches, innovative methods, techniques and solutions to adapt to the challenges of the new economy, for businesses and society in general. Discussions were held during the five sessions of the conference: Economic History and Business Management in the Changing Global Scenario, Organisational Behaviour, Business Ethics and HR Revolution, Business Excellence, Strategy and Organisational Performance, Management of Knowledge, Information and Organisational Learning, Investment Management, Innovation and Sustainability.
